ArticlesFirm Names its Newest PartnerMansfield Tanick & Cohen is pleased to announce that attorney Steven V. Rose has been made a partner in the Firm. Mr. Rose focuses on civil, commercial and real estate litigation. He is admitted to practice before the courts in the State of Minnesota and in the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota. Mr. Rose has tried cases in the areas of family law, landlord-tenant law, real estate law, including mechanic's liens, and personal injury. He also has litigated a number of cases involving construction defects and breach of warranty claims. Mr. Rose’s practice also includes debtor and lender and representation. Prior to joining Mansfield, Tanick & Cohen, P.A., Mr. Rose was engaged in the private practice of law in Minneapolis and following law school held judicial clerkships in the First and Sixth Judicial Districts of Minnesota. While earning his J.D. from Hamline University School of Law, Mr. Rose worked as a student attorney for the Hamline University School of Law General Practice Clinic. There, Mr. Rose addressed family law matters and represented the interests of children involved in adoption, truancy, and those in need of protection. Mr. Rose received his B.A. from the University of Minnesota, Duluth. While earning his B.A., he worked in the Office of the St. Louis County Attorney, assisting in the prosecution of general crimes, including second degree murder, felony drug offenses and sexual assault. In addition to assisting in the prosecution of crimes, Mr. Rose also protected victims' rights by providing them information regarding the status of their offender's case, explaining the criminal process, and ensuring that victims were afforded an opportunity to exercise their rights as well. |
