Business INCubation Center® to Build Upon First Year Success

Mansfield Tanick & Cohen's Business INCubation Center®, a new program initiated in early 2007, experienced great success in its first year.

The INCubation Center® was established based on the need for a low cost, yet comprehensive program designed to give entrepreneurs and new and emerging small businesses access to services and advisors necessary to achieve success.

Building on its tremendous first year, the Business INCubation Center® will host a series of quarterly "INCubation Briefings" focused on key issues for new and emerging businesses. The first such briefing will take place on February 5, 2008 at the Firm's Minneapolis office. Entitled "The Building Blocks of a Successful Business," the initial briefing will feature the following speakers and topics:

• Creating a Business Plan: Pete May, PEM Business Advisors
• The Importance of Intellectual Property for New Businesses: Jeff Stone, Altera Law Group
• Financing Your Business Idea: Tim Swanson, BNC National Bank

• Accounting Basics for New Businesses: Michael Yellen, Simma Flottemesch and Orenstein
