Mansfield Tanick & Cohen Enjoys a Busy and Successful 2007

Mansfield Tanick & Cohen experienced a busy and successful 2007 throughout all of our of our practice groups (business law, civil litigation and employment law). Examples of our 2007 activities include the following:

• Mansfield Tanick & Cohen shareholders Seymour J. Mansfield, Marshall H. Tanick, Earl H. Cohen and Denise Y. Tataryn were designated as 2007 Super Lawyers. Minnesota Law & Politics annually surveys Minnesota lawyers regarding the top practitioners, or Super Lawyers. About 5 percent of Minnesota lawyers earn the Super Lawyer designation each year.
• Denis Y. Tataryn was also selected as one of Minnesota's Top 100 Women Lawyers. Lymari J. Santana, Of Counsel to Mansfield Tanick & Cohen, also received this honor.
• Mansfield Tanick & Cohen associate Jeffrey C. O'Brien was designated a 2008 Rising Star by Minnesota Law & Politic, a distinction awarded to only 2.5 percent of Minnesota attorneys.
• The Business INCubation Center®, a program designed to give entrepreneurs and new and emerging small businesses access to the services and advisors necessary to achieve success, was launched in February.
• Mansfield Tanick & Cohen co-sponsored a program providing an overview of the most prevalent corporate, commercial and intellectual issues facing businesses mining the United Kingdom and European Union markets.
• Litigation victories were abundant in the practices of employment, consumer litigation, real estate, commercial litigation, defamation, Constitutional law, ERISA, antitrust and class actions.
• The firm's history of professional client and CLE education continued with numerous seminars on a wide array of legal topics. Mansfield Tanick & Cohen attorneys Seymour Mansfield, Marshall Tanick, Earl Cohen, Denise Tataryn, Philip Trobaugh and Jeffrey C. O'Brien all presented several seminars regarding their respective practice areas.
• Mansfield Tanick & Cohen became active in MHA and CIC Midwest.
