MTC Client Gets into the "Swing of Things"

Mansfield Tanick & Cohen is proud to represent entrepreneurs and inventors. One of our clients, Ven Properties, LLC, has recently introduced an interesting, new product for the golf industry, the "G-4 Swing Trainer."

The G-4 Swing Trainer was born out of the needs of two average golfers, Vince Seiter and Nick Marino, owners of Ven Properties, LLC.

Vince, the younger of the two, would occasionally pull a muscle while playing golf, especially after not playing for a while. Vince is in pretty good shape, but his life is busy limiting his available time to visit the gym. Prior to a golf trip to Arizona one February, he went to the club to try to build his 'golf muscles.' While there are machines for almost every muscle in the body, there is no machine which will strengthen the specific muscles used in the golf swing.

Nick, who turned 55 this year, had a different problem. He noticed a significant drop in distance and control if he did not follow a consistent exercise program. Additionally, Nick was losing the flexibility necessary to easily rotate his core and shoulders, thereby losing length in all of his shots.

The G-4 was created as a solution to both problems. The two got together and worked through several ideas and proto-types before approaching a sports medicine doctor and several local golf pros for their refinements on the original design. The more refinements that were made, the more simple the device became...and the more benefits that were identified.

The guys then approached Tom Lehman, Minnesota-born professional golfer, to ask his opinion of the product and to seek his endorsement. Tom was very enthusiastic and developed the exercises that are recommended for appropriate product use.
