Mansfield Tanick & Cohen Attorney named to "Top 100 Women Lawyers in Minnesota" List

Mansfield Tanick & Cohen congratulates attorney Denise Y. Tataryn on being named one of Minnesota Law & Politics Super Lawyers' Top 100 Women Lawyers in Minnesota for 2008. This is the second consecutive year that Ms. Tataryn has received this high honor.

Ms. Tataryn is a shareholder of Mansfield Tanick & Cohen, joining the firm in 1987. In 1991, she took a senior attorney position with the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation, a federal governmental agency, in Washington, D.C. where she stayed for six years. In 1999, she returned to Mansfield Tanick & Cohen and currently serves as chair of the firm's disability practice group, which has successfully represented hundreds of clients seeking disability benefits. Ms. Tataryn has devoted most of her legal career to the practice of ERISA and employment law litigation. She is a frequent speaker on both subjects.

In addition to her legal work in the area of disability law, Ms. Tataryn is involved in several non-profit and charitable activities related to her legal expertise, including the Arthritis Foundation and the Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Ms. Tataryn graduated from Hamline University School of Law in 1986. She is an honors graduate from Minnesota State University-Mankato, with a degree in business administration.
