2009 Highlights

Twenty years after the Firm’s founding and in the midst of the toughest economic times in a generation, the attorneys of Mansfield, Tanick & Cohen found several ways to keep busy in 2009. Some of our highlights include the following:

• Seymour J. Mansfield was the Fund for the Legal Aid Society’s annual Law Day Dinner honoree in May.
• The Firm added two new partners. Steven V. Rose, who had been an associate attorney at the Firm, and Gregory B. Perleberg, who joined from another Minneapolis firm.
• Also joining the Firm was associate attorney Emeric J. Dwyer.
• Jeffrey C. O’Brien was elected as President-Elect of the American Association of Microbusinesses.
• The INCubation Center® continued to be a success, with three “INCubation Briefings” and another cover story in New Business Minnesota in November 2009.
• Numerous MT&C attorneys received awards from Minnesota Law & Politics; click here for a full list of the honorees.
• Continuing in our tradition of providing quality legal education to lawyers and non-lawyers alike, our attorneys authored several articles and presented numerous programs on a wide variety of legal issues. Please check the “Publications” page of our website for a full listing of our articles.
