Rick L. Petry is a Partner at Mansfield, Tanick & Cohen and a seasoned professional litigation attorney. He has a strong background in representing clients in state and federal courts across the country in complex commercial, personal injury and white-collar investigations and trials. He is aggressive with those who cause damages or injuries to his clients, yet gentle and understanding with those who have been damaged, injured or charged with misconduct. He firmly believes that you deserve to be fairly compensated when you have been damaged or injured as a result of someone else’s wrongdoing, and he believes that you deserve a strong defense if you have been accused of committing illegal conduct. Rick has handled hundreds of cases involving contract disputes, fraud, insurance disputes, construction defects, car accidents, slip/trip and fall accidents, truck accidents, dog bites, and motorcycle accidents. He has also been very successful in securing fair and adequate settlements and outcomes for his clients. Rick leads the firm’s White Collar & Regulatory Defense Practice and he is active in the firm’s commercial and real estate litigation and personal injury groups. He has strong experience in white collar investigations and trials. His practice is focused on representing business organizations, executives, physicians, attorneys, other professionals, and individuals in criminal and regulatory cases, as well as in civil fraud, enforcement proceedings, and internal investigations. Rick also has extensive experience in the areas of commercial, real estate and civil rights litigation and personal injury matters. He is designated a "Rising Star" by the Minnesota Journal of Law and Politics, a designation reserved for only 2.5% of all Minnesota attorneys.
