Attorney Profiles

J.B. Roth (or Jean-Benoit to his fellow Frenchmen) is an Associate with Mansfield, Tanick & Cohen, P.A.  He received his M.B.A. from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1994 after receiving his Bachelor of Science in Business from the Dijon Business School in his native France.  He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Hamline University School of Law in 2005.

Mr. Roth brings to the table a broad experience, bringing together both legal and financial acumen.  Prior to entering the legal profession, Mr. Roth worked as a financial analyst and division-level Controller for a top-5 engineering and architectural company.  During Law School, he was an associate at the school's Law Review and volunteered at the Legal Aid of Minnesota's Youth Law Project.  He was employed with Mansfield, Tanick &  Cohen, P.A. as a law clerk from 2003-2005.

Working primarily in consumer and business litigation, Mr. Roth combines both financial acumen and business sense with his legal analysis.  He adds practical experience in several fields of work and two continents to a thoughtful understanding of the law to get to the bottom of the problems presented to him.

J.B. lives in Minneapolis with his wife Liz and is the proud dad to his daughter Caroline.
